Holiday Movies For The Family

Christmas may be over, but it’s still the holiday season and a great time to be with family. While some may be visiting provinces, beaches, or even abroad, some prefer just having a regular staycation.

Happy Christmas (2014)
Pitch Perfect sweetheart Anna Kendrick stars in this holiday film as a girl who moves in with her brother, only causing him and his family’s life to have a complete turn-around. Also starring with Kendrick is Lena Dunham, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Webber, and Joe Swanberg – who also directed, produced, and wrote the script.

Four Christmases and a Wedding (2017)
Chloe has been really good at her job planning events, such as being tasked to put together the local Christmas festival, however she hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to love. Things change when she meets Evan, and their relationship over the next seasons will show just how magical love can be during Christmastime.

Christmas Is Here Again (2007)
One for the kids to enjoy! This movie finds Sophiana on a quest to find Santa’s sack of gifts that was stolen by the evil Krad, causing children to forget all about Christmas. Starring Ed Asner, Kathy Bates, Brad Garrett, Jay Leno, and Madison Davenport as Sophiana.

New Year’s Eve (2011)
The late Garry Marshall bounced from the couples favorite Valentine’s Day with another holiday-themed film featuring an ensemble cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Robert De Niro, and more. Each of the film’s characters find their stories intertwined during New Year’s Eve in New York City.
